Visas for all countries

For tourist visits of less than 30 days, Austrian and EU citizens must apply for an e-Visa online. All other visas must be issued in the passport.

Electronic Visa (e-Visa)

Please send us the following documents by email:

• Passport copy (must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of departure)
• One passport photo (scan)
• A valid telephone number
• Residential address in Austria
• Expected travel dates
• Proof of payment of EUR 150 to the following account:

Traditional Visa in Passport

The following documents (per person) are required for us to obtain a Saudi Arabia visa for you:

Business Visa (available only for non-Austrian citizens):

• Passport in original (must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of departure and contain at least 1 blank page)
• 1 biometric passport photo (must be original, in color, white/non-colored background, photo paper; passport must contain two blank facing pages)
• 1 completed and signed visa application form
• Invitation letter from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs addressed to the Embassy in Vienna (this must be transmitted directly from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in KSA to the Embassy in Vienna)
• Cover letter from the sending company (must contain the purpose and duration of the trip, details and position of the traveler, confirmation of cost coverage, and the names and addresses of the Saudi business partners – see sample letter). The letter must be legalized by the competent Chamber of Commerce. We will be happy to arrange this for you.
• Commercial register extract of the partner in Saudi Arabia (not older than 3 months)
• Current registration certificate/proof of residence from Austria or Slovakia (applies to non-Austrian/non-Slovak citizens)

Work Visit Visa (available only for non-Austrian citizens)

• Passport in original (must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of departure and contain at least 1 blank page)
• 1 biometric passport photo (must be original, in color, white/non-colored background, photo paper; passport must contain two blank facing pages)
• 1 completed and signed visa application form
• Invitation letter from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs addressed to the Embassy in Vienna (this must be transmitted directly from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in KSA to the Embassy in Vienna)

• Relevant school or university certificate (proof that the applicant is qualified for the profession to be exercised; a copy is sufficient)
• Current registration certificate/proof of residence from Austria or Slovakia (applies to non-Austrian/non-Slovak citizens)

Residence Permit (Iqama)

• Passport in original (must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of departure and contain at least 1 blank page)
• 1 biometric passport photo (must be original, in color, white/non-colored background, photo paper; passport must contain two blank facing pages)
• 1 completed and signed visa application form
• Approval from the Saudi Ministry of Interior with visa number
• Medical report certified by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• Proof of relationship (marriage certificate for married applicants, birth certificate for children, copies accepted)
• Police clearance certificate (criminal record extract)
• Current registration certificate/proof of residence from Austria or Slovakia (applies to non-Austrian/non-Slovak citizens)
