The certification process may consist of several stages, as your document may need to be recognized and confirmed by various governmental authorities as well as by the relevant consulate. If a document is being certified for a country that is a party to the Hague Convention, an apostille stamp serves as confirmation of the document’s authenticity. For countries that have not acceded to the Hague Convention, super-legalization/legalization must be obtained from the relevant consulate or embassy.
