VISA TYPES FOR NEW ZEALAND:
eTA Visa
Electronic visa for tourist and business travel with stays of up to 90 days
eTA Visa
Austrian citizens and EU citizens are required to obtain an eTA visa to enter New Zealand.
The eTA visa is valid for up to 2 years from the date of issuance and allows multiple entries as well as a maximum stay of 90 days per entry.
The eTA visa can be used for both tourist and business purposes.
What is the application process?
Step 1
You must prepare all required documents. The list of documents can be found below.

You send the documents by email, by registered mail, or bring them to our office — either in person or through a representative.

We review the submitted documents as quickly as possible and inform you about the status.

You make the payment in a way that is convenient for you: by bank transfer, in cash, via PayPal, or online by payment card.

We submit the visa application on the same or the next business day after receiving all documents.

We send the eTA visa to you by email on the day of issuance or the following day. The visa can also be collected in person at the office.
