Visas for all countries

The following documents (per person) are required for us to obtain a Mongolia visa on your behalf:

Tourist Visa:

• Original passport (must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the departure date, with at least 1 free page)
• 1 passport photo (must be original, color, white/non-colored background, photo paper)
• Completed and signed visa application form
• Flight and hotel booking confirmation or invitation letter/reference from the Mongolian tour operator (if entering by car: vehicle registration certificate, a map showing the intended route and a letter signed by the applicant containing the expected entry and departure dates and the purpose of travel)
• Current registration certificate/proof of residence from Austria (applies to non-Austrian citizens)
• Order form for ARC Consulting (ONLINE / PDF)

Business Visa:

• Original passport (must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the departure date, with at least 1 free page)
• 1 passport photo (must be original, color, white/non-colored background, photo paper)
• Completed and signed visa application form
• Cover letter from the sending company (contents: purpose and duration of the trip, traveler information, confirmation of cost coverage, names and addresses of the business partner in Mongolia)
• Invitation letter from the business partner in Mongolia (contents: traveler information, purpose of travel). Must also be sent to the following address: konsulat@embassymon.at
• Current registration certificate/proof of residence from Austria (applies to non-Austrian citizens)
• Order form for ARC Consulting (ONLINE / PDF)

Important:

The visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issue. The traveler may still enter Mongolia on the last day of these 90 days and stay in the country for 30 days. Maximum duration of stay per entry/visa: 30 consecutive days. The stay can be extended on-site for an additional 30 days.

Transit visas are valid for up to 5 days.

Electronic E-Visa

At present, Austrian citizens can apply for an e-Visa to enter Mongolia.

Your Advantages:

• Issued within 2–3 days
• Passport and other documents do not need to be sent in original form

NB: The eVisa is valid for 150 days from the date of issue and entitles the holder to a 30-day stay.

Important: The visa may be refused without explanation. In this case, a new visa application must be submitted through the embassy. The e-Visa fees are non-refundable.
