How does the process of applying for a visa for Ghana work?
Step 1
You must prepare all required documents. The list of documents can be found below.

You send the documents by email or registered mail, or bring them to our office—either in person or through a representative (no power of attorney is required).

We review the submitted documents as quickly as possible and inform you about the status.

You make the payment in a convenient way: by bank transfer, cash, PayPal, or online by card.

We submit the visa documents to the consulate on the same or next working day after receiving all documents.

We send you the passport with the visa by registered mail on the day it is received from the consulate or the following day. The visa can also be collected in person at our office.

Original passport
Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of departure and contain at least 2 blank pages.
1 biometric passport photo
Recent photo, not older than 6 months. It must be an original, in color, on a white/neutral background, with a neutral facial expression, and printed on photo paper.
A photo can be taken at our office for €10.
Electronic visa application
Completed and paid online. For assistance, please fill out our application form by hand or on a computer.
We can also complete the visa application for you. Additional fee: €30.
Flight and hotel booking.
Current registration certificate in Austria
Only applies to citizens of countries that are not members of the EU.
Yellow fever vaccination (copy)

The letter must include the purpose of travel and duration of stay, information about the traveler, confirmation of cost coverage, as well as the names and addresses of the business partner in Ghana.
