The Vietnamese government has announced a new step to promote tourism: starting August 15, 2025, nationals of twelve European countries will be able to enter Vietnam visa-free. The visa-free policy allows stays of up to 45 days and applies to all types of passports. The goal of this measure is to increase Vietnam’s attractiveness as a travel destination in Asia.

The following countries benefit from the new rule:
Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Switzerland.
