United Kingdom simplifies entry requirements for foreigners.
Starting October 4, UK authorities will abolish the traffic light system. From that date, vaccinated travelers from countries not on the “red” list will only need to take a PCR test on the second day after arriving in the UK. By the end of October, the PCR test may be replaced by a cheaper rapid antigen test.
The new system will include “safe” countries as well as a “red” list, from which, as of September 22, eight additional countries are expected to be removed: Turkey, Pakistan, the Maldives, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Oman, Bangladesh, and Kenya.
