On October 17, 2026, Tanzania’s Ministry of Health announced that the Traveler’s Health Surveillance Form — an online health declaration — is now mandatory for all arriving travelers.

The requirement took effect immediately and applies to everyone entering mainland Tanzania, regardless of nationality or country of departure. The form itself is not new, but it must now be completed by all travelers, including tourists arriving on direct flights from the US, Europe, or other regions.
