From now on, fully vaccinated tourists are allowed to enter Sri Lanka. As of March 1, 2022, fully vaccinated travelers are exempt from pre-departure COVID-19 PCR/rapid antigen tests, and no restrictive quarantine is required.

“Fully vaccinated” travelers can stay in any type of accommodation, and no PCR test is required upon arrival.

“Not fully vaccinated” travelers will stay in a “flexible bio-bubble,” where all hotel facilities are available, and they may visit approved tourist attractions.

Children under 12 years of age are exempt from both arrival and departure PCR/rapid antigen tests.

Please ensure you have mandatory COVID-19 insurance costing 12 USD with one-month coverage of 75,000 USD, which is required for all travelers (both fully vaccinated and unvaccinated).
