China has relaxed fingerprint requirements for visa applications since August 2023.

The requirement to provide fingerprints for single and double-entry visas has been suspended until 31 December 2023 for the following visa categories: M, L, Q2, G, C.

However, fingerprints are still required for multiple-entry visas as well as for work and conference visa categories Z and F.
