The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have lifted the requirement to present a negative COVID-19 test result in order to enter the United States.

As of June 12, 2022, the new rule applies to all travelers entering the USA from abroad, whether by air or any other mode of transport.

The removal of the testing requirement means that visa-exempt travelers can now enter the United States without proof of a negative COVID-19 test. They only need to ensure they have an approved ESTA visa waiver for the United States before departure.

You can apply for any type of USA visa (tourist, business (B1/B2), ESTA, etc.) at any time via https://visacenter.at/de/country/usa/.
