According to the new guidelines of the Government of India, long-term tourist visas as well as e-tourist visas have been restored with immediate effect as of April 1, 2022. Nationals of 156 countries, including Austria, can now apply for Indian visas valid for 1 year (multiple entry).

NB! The Indian Ministry of Civil Aviation has introduced a contactless solution called Air Suvidha for all international passengers visiting India due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Air Suvidha Self Declaration Form must be completed by all international arrivals in India — we are happy to assist you with this!
