Last week, India once again made its 30-day electronic tourist visa available at a reduced off-season price.

For nationals of many e-visa-eligible countries, the fee is currently $10 from April 1 to June 30. From July 1 to March 31, the regular price of $25 applies again. This seasonal pricing model is not new: it has been in place since 2019, when India reformed its e-visa system and introduced a two-tier pricing structure for 30-day tourist visas.

The aim of this measure is to promote international tourism during lower-demand months by reducing entry costs.
