Facilitations for entry into China (business, work, and family visas).
China has finally removed its long-standing strict COVID-19 travel restrictions for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic.
The easing of restrictions on January 8, 2023 means that foreign nationals can travel to China without restrictions for the first time in 3 years.
Passengers arriving in China are no longer subject to COVID-19 testing upon arrival. They also no longer need to undergo quarantine in centralized government facilities.
Foreign nationals are now able to travel to China for business purposes or to visit family in the country. Travel for tourism purposes remains restricted. However, it is expected that the government will review China’s tourist visa policy in the near future.
