China simplifies entry requirements for foreigners again.
As of May 15, China has introduced a visa-free regime for foreigners arriving by cruise ships.
Foreign nationals entering through ports in 13 Chinese cities can now stay in China for up to 15 days without a visa.
The requirement is that tourists must be part of a group (minimum of two people) booked through a Chinese travel agency. In addition, travelers must remain on the cruise ship between port stops until they leave Chinese territory.
The ports include cities such as Tianjin, Dalian (Liaoning Province), Shanghai, Lianyungang (Jiangsu Province), Wenzhou, Zhoushan (Zhejiang Province), Xiamen (Fujian Province), Guangzhou, Shenzhen (Guangdong Province), Qingdao (Shandong Province), Beihai (Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region), Haikou, and Sanya (Hainan Province).
